Before he can speak intelligently about the services that might be appropriate for you and your family, He emphasises the  need to get to know his client. And, before his client can  can feel comfortable sharing goals and dreams, he needs to get to know you. 

Charles is licensed in l9 states, however he works primarily in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and NW Arkansas. After beginning work in NW Arkansas in l993 and needing a way to understand the business climate there, he wrote “Northwest Arkansas, the Arkansas River Navigation System, Right to Work, The Rust Belt, and the broader movement of Industry into the Southern US during l956-l984.” He defined this as a ‘golden age,’ which for Fort Smith, Arkansas meant a creation of a middle class and a reversal of out migration dating from l930. This work was critical in understanding business development of an area, and remains insightful to business owners there today. This type of analysis of 'the market,' is critical in understanding the special needs of the family owned business owner.
 
Charles is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table, and for 25 years has been a member of the Top of the Morning Study Group, a group of 25 agents who meet for 5 days annually in discussion of cases related to insurance and estate planning. It has met continually for 60 years. During 2008 Charles joined the NML Forum, a group of the top 200 agents in Northwestern Mutual.
